The slide show on the CD-ROM documents the natural beauty of the El Paso area through more than 250 photos. El Paso, located in the center of the Chihuahua Desert, is home to a large number of beautiful cacti. Many different blooming cacti, other blooming plants, and fascinating animals are shown together with some of the highlights of El Paso city. They are testimony to the colorful and picturesque ambience of the El Paso area. All photos were taken within the city limits of El Paso and show the plants and animals in their natural habitat. The richness of the natural history of El Paso is a treasure that is still under-appreciated and deserves more attention and protection.

The photgraphers, Gertrud and Ad Konings, are both biologists and live in El Paso. The music on the CD-ROM was provided by the Coronado HS Orchestras directed by Ida Steadman. A selection of 16 wallpapers (max 1024x768pix) offers the opportunity to choose your favorite El Paso scene
